Prabhash Shrestha is Group Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Strategy Officer for the Independent Community Bankers of America. In his role, Prabhash leads the association’s digital efforts, ensuring their alignment with ICBA’s business goals and objectives. He is a digital transformation champion, and he truly understands the association business.
He has received a number of industry honors, including a Top Association and Non-Profit Innovators award in 2022, 2021, 2017 and 2015, a 2016 Top Association Tech Guru award, and several teaching excellence awards at Georgetown University. He also was featured in ‘2015 TRENDS Tech 10’ and ‘Top 5 under 35’ in 2007 by Associations Now.
Prabhash is extremely passionate about association technology business. Prabhash has been organizing bi-monthly invitation-only Association CIO Roundtable Breakfast since 2016 in Washington DC. Prabhash speaks frequently on technology strategies and issues in various association and non-profit conferences in the USA and abroad. He has implemented numerous successful business solutions to help and he is always willing to help other association professionals by sharing his knowledge, skills and experience passionately.
Prabhash has held many board, committee and volunteer roles. He was a member of the governing board of the Wise Giving Alliance and chair of their technology committee. He also served as a technology committee member for the Council of Better Business Bureaus. He is an active member of association community and has been chairperson of ASAE Technology Council and member of ASAE Executive Management Council. He also served in AOAExcel governing board, a for profit subsidiary of American Optometric Association.
Prabhash has more than 20 years of extensive information technology leadership experience including leadership roles with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Before ICBA, he served as Vice President of Technology for the American Gastroenterological Association, where he led the organization’s technology strategy and operations. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
Prabhash holds an MIT Sloan Executive Certificate on Strategy and Innovation and has entrepreneurship certificates from the Wharton School of Business. Prabhash is currently aiming for an Executive Certificate of Business Excellence from Haas Business School, University of California at Berkeley. Prabhash is a Georgetown University professor and has been teaching the courses in the master’s degree Program in Technology Management since 2010. Prabhash also is an adjunct professor at Catholic University of America.
